Another week is in the books! We got 5 acres of red potatoes planted, as well as 5 acres of 'superiors', which are an early white potato. As long as mother nature cooperates, and the old equipment, we should finish up later in the week.
We have had a few cold windy nights then kept us on our toes. We need to start taking plants out of our greenhouses to 'harden off', (get acclimated to the real world), but with this wind and cold we kept them protected a few more days.
Stay tuned for more beef and even pork next week! I partnered with a college roommate who helps run a large farm to bring more beef selection and pork options. It's a great feeling to help support a fellow classmate, as they continue to grow personally and professionally!
