Hello members, hope all is well and enjoying this fall weather finally! Wild week on the farm with temps around 85 on Wednesday and then 60 on Thursday. Most fall crops love the cooler weather, but the broccoli hates the warm humid weather and we will have some major losses in it.
Just a reminder that we have amazing mums for sale at the farmstand for only $5 that will be perfect for some fall color for your yard. We also have hay bales, corn stalks, pumpkins, and more for your fall decorations.
Another thing we have at the stand is potted herb bowls that are perfect for indoors for the winter. If you have a sunny windowsill or counter I recommend one as you can't beat fresh herbs in the cold winter months.
Also, if you want to come out to the North Fork but don't want to wait in traffic, I'd advise checking out our new neighbors pumpkin patch, Holzemans Farm. They have over 10 acres of U-Pick pumpkins, corn maze, roasted corn, hay bale maze for kids, and much more. They are new to the neighborhood and want to show them our support.
