As the wacky train goes around and around another week is in the books. This time of year on the farm we fix broken equipment, change oils, order seeds, and it almost seems like a never ending chores list. The greenhouses are filling up nicely but we put a little pause for a couple days to get by this nasty cold air Monday into Tuesday. Wind chills are going to be in the low teens and some plants can wait a few days before being planted. Last year a greenhouse heater did not come on and our greenhouse temperature dropped to 30 degrees for a short time but it was enough damage to loose a large chunk of plants in that greenhouse.
