Happy April!! Well we survived some more severe windy weather and cold this weekend and week. We did have one greenhouse plastic rip off, but thankfully we didn't plant it yet and it will have lettuces and scallions soon enough.
Our seed potatoes came in from Maine this week so that means they will be planted soon. We had a minor heart attack at the freight increase this year I suppose.
April is an exciting month on the farm! The miracle of new life is upon us and it absolutely fascinates me. I challenge you to get outside and just take a walk and leave your phone and distractions home. Open up your senses to the beauty of nature and feel the warmth of the sun, hear the birds chirping, smell the earth waking up again!
