Another sweaty week is in the books. It is very difficult to keep fresh produce from breaking down from this high humidity. Most fruit and produce want to break down, and they need a relief at night and they havent been getting it. Its tricky and we do our best.
We are getting into peak summer tomato, pepper, eggplant season and I can't wait for tomato sandwiches to start. In case your wondering what a tomato sandwich is, it is white bread toasted, a gorgeous tomato sliced thin, mayonnaise on the toast, pinch of salt on the tomatoes and boom, one of the best summer sandwiches you can eat!
