Winter Veggie Boxes will be Morganton focused, and we will have fewer Veggie Boxes available in the winter months. Morganton folks: look for an email to sign up for our winter veggie box season. It will be December- mid February. We hope to have a few veggie boxes for Charlotte members this winter, and we will be bringing big piles of certain veggies to the Charlotte Regional Market every Saturday (except holiday weeks). Hickory folks: we'll have meat shares and a chance to order veggies for December 10th, and we'll be back in January + February.

Farmers Marie Williamson and William Lyons started Bluebird Farm in 2009 on the land that Marie grew up on in Morganton, North Carolina. They earn their livelihood growing food on the farm, and love the beauty of food and land. They are passionate about the art of grazing livestock, and they feed their meat hogs certified organic grains. They work hard to raise healthy, flavorful vegetables, pastured meats, and eggs using biological techniques that improve the health of their land and contribute to a diverse farm ecosystem.
