We're getting down to the end of our sweet potato winter reserves and we've saved the cutest ones for last! This week we're offering a medley of 3 varieties of fingerling sweet potatoes that are the perfect size for roasting, mini chips, or cubing for a breakfast hash. The only thing different about this size of sweet potato is the size- perfect for cutting into rounds. You'll notice these cuties require a rinse just like our other potatoes since we've wanted to keep the skin as undisturbed as possible for better storage. This also means our sweet potatoes will last in a cool dark place in your pantry for a few weeks, which is a perfect excuse to stock up now! Our fingerling sweet potatoes will be available on Harvie this week as well as at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market on Saturday. We have three varieties left for the medley: Bradshaw, Covington, and Garnet (pictured above). Each comes with a unique flavor and level of sweetness so the fingerling medley of the 3 varieties will be a treat in each bite.

We’re growing for you!
Farmers Marie Williamson and William Lyons started Bluebird Farm in 2009 on the land that Marie grew up on in Morganton, North Carolina. They earn their livelihood growing food on the farm, and love the beauty of food and land. They are passionate about the art of grazing livestock, and they feed their meat hogs certified organic grains. They work hard to raise healthy, flavorful vegetables, pastured meats, and eggs using biological techniques that improve the health of their land and contribute to a diverse farm ecosystem.
