Now that the first week of the CSA has come and gone it really feels like our season has begun! In addition, this past week we rounded out our team for the season with the start of our newest employee: Sam. Sam is pictured on this Farm Happenings featured image.
Caitlyn has been with us since mid-May. You may have seen our introduction of her on Instagram of Facebook back in May. Caitlyn has lots of experience with sustainable foods as she worked at a food co-op in the Twin Cities. We really enjoy the energy and excitement that our employees bring to our farm. We hope you'll get to meet them at future CSA pickups.
You can't really be a farm without a good farm dog. Our dog, Axel, is a big cuddle monster. He loves hanging out in the field while we work on weeding or harvesting and when he gets too hot, he goes for a swim in the creek by our farm. Axel is pictured below:
