Hello Everyone!
Pictured Above: A pork hock! Even though our program is very customizable- we still recommend you continuously change your preferences so that you can try everything! Also take advantage of the swapping option when you get your share email. We call this eating "Nose to Tail" it is a great way to utilize the whole animal & prevent as much food waste as possible.
So what's new?
Current Updates:
Season Begins;
- Number of deliveries for the season to go;
- 6.
- To make our packing a little lighter during the week- we spilt total number of meat shares in a month into 2 groups.
- You will always get 1 delivery a month- you just may be the 1st or 2nd week of the month
- If you have more than 1 meat share and you are getting them delivered 2 different weeks in the same month, let us know! Email us and we will get them linked up on the same week.
- Be sure to check your email for on Friday's for the 'customization' email.
- This is where you can change your share & purchase extras!
- Sundays @ the cut off time (3pm) we close the customization period!
- We start printing orders.
- NO changes can be made and NO extras can be purchased after this.
- Sometimes our emails end up as SPAM. Check your junk email often!
- Know your share & your pick up/delivery day.
- Write it on a calendar!
Have home delivery?
- Have a cooler on your porch for us to put your produce box in to keep it safe from the elements.
The Meat Shares;
- Beef: 32 different cut options- only certain amount of cuts per animal (eg. 5 tenderloins/cow vs. 26 flatirons/cow )
- Pigs: 12 different options- smaller animals means not as many cut varieties
- Cows 700lbs+ of meat to cut from vs. Pig 250lbs meat to cut from.
Return Red Freezer Bags, Mason Jars & 12 hole Egg Cartons
- Yes you can return these items! We like to reuse as much as we can :)
- You can leave them out your next delivery for the driver to get when they drop of your next order. If you are a pick up, you can leave the items at that location and we will grab them.
- If your red bag has a water bottle in it, do not empty it & leave it in! It's an icepack to help keep the items frozen during delivery. We refreeze them and use them multiple times.
We Sometimes Miss Items...
- We do a lot of counting & packing during the week & sometimes we miss putting an item in a box or in an extras order.
- Just email us! We have accepted that we are only human and mistakes happen.
- If we miss something of yours, we will get those items to you.
Holiday Wreaths & Centre Pieces
Our friend Alex from Blooming Vintage (makes the mason jar flowers) is making holiday wreaths & centre pieces! Will be available to order on the extras
- Will be available for order on the extras IF you have a vegetable share
- OR they are available on our online store.

SET YOUR PREFERENCES!
- Please log into your account and set your preferences for every item we have (yes every item!). This is how the program customizes your boxes. Plus we use these preferences in cases where we need to manually make up your share.
- You can change your preferences any time you want.
