So what's new?
Current Updates:
Thank you for the response on the health of our drivers! 'Manure' happens! They are doing better and we appreciate the concern & for all of the extra clear drive ways the following.
Maple Syrup Season!
- It's looking like we may be boiling next week!
- We need about 5-6 degrees during the day then back to freezing temps at night for the sap to run
- We are expanding our sugar shack!
- We have moved it to a different location so that we can make it bigger.
- You will be seeing us working on it over the summer as well, we have some special plans for it...
Mud Season is Coming Quick
- We have a very sandy farm, this mean the spring thaw makes our farm VERY mucky.
- If you come visit us on the weekends;
- Bring Rubber Boots or other like foot ware
- Parking may be different than the normal!
PRO-Tip:
- If you do not have a meat thermometer, GET ONE.
- This is the best and most accurate way to get your desired outcome.
- Our meat does not take long to cook. Often we will cook it 5 degrees under suggested temps.
- for beef, pork & chicken!
- At that point, just with your eyes if it's too pink, cook a little longer.
New Prime Cut Steak?
- We are looking at getting Denver steak cuts.
- Made popular by the US.
- Comes from the blade/chuck. Also where flatirons come from. (cut using a different technique)
- Very tender with great marbling.
- We will be cooking these up & if we decide we love them, we may include them as another prime cut steak selection for the share

- If you haven't sign up yet, you may want to do so as the public now has access to sign ups

- However, we will be offering eggs from homestead farms as extras to be purchased over the summer.
Have home delivery?
- Have a cooler on your porch for us to put your share in to keep it safe from the elements.
PLEASE Return Boxes & Red Freezer Bags!
We also take back mason jars & 12 hole Egg Cartons
- We like to reuse as much as we can :)
- leave them out your next delivery for the driver to get when they drop off your next order.
- If you are a pick up, you can leave the items at that location and we will grab them.
- If your red bag has a water bottle in it, leave it in! It's an icepack to help keep the items frozen during delivery. We refreeze them and use them multiple times.

Reminders On How The Share Works/ Tips & Tricks
We Sometimes Miss Items...
- We do a lot of counting & packing during the week & sometimes we miss putting an item in a box or in an extras order.
- Just email us! We have accepted that we are only human and mistakes happen.
- If we miss something of yours, we will get those items to you.
- Be sure to check your email for on Friday's for the 'customization' email.
- This is where you can change your share & purchase extras!
- Sundays @ the cut off time (3pm) we close the customization period!
- We start printing orders.
- NO changes can be made and NO extras can be purchased after this.
- Sometimes our emails end up as SPAM. Check your junk email often!
- Know your share & your pick up/delivery day.
- Write it on a calendar!
SET YOUR PREFERENCES!
- Please log into your account and set your preferences for every item we have (yes every item!). This is how the program customizes your boxes. Plus we use these preferences in cases where we need to manually make up your share.
- You can change your preferences any time you want.
