Maple Syrup Season "A short but still sweet season"
- It is coming to an end as the temps are getting too warm.
- We were able to get a good quantity of Maple Syrup made this spring, however, it is was much less than our average yields.
- That's how it goes working with mother nature!
- Looking forward to next season.
The Mexicanos are on their way!
- We got great news from our FARMS program, our team is coming this Tuesday!
- We are so excited to have the guys back & to start another season.
- They will be taking their 2 weeks quarantine upon arrival & are eager to get started once it is safe to do so.
- Summer 2021 is on it's way!
New Local Produce Items!
- Jim & Elayne Hulshof of Hulshof Farms ( Located in Leaksdale, Uxbridge Twnshp.) have a fabulous love for growing microgreens & we'd love to share them with you.
- Limited quantity
- Microgreens available this week;
- Kale
- Broccoli
- Shoots
- Sunflower
- Sweet Pea Shoots
- PLEASE DO NOT RETURN CONTAINERS!
- They are compostable! Please put them in your compost bin when finished with them.
Chicken Update:
- There will be no more chicken available until the summer season begins
- We are getting our first batch of chicks come April 15th
- Sign up for our pasture raised meat share to have access to the chicken inventory
We're Hiring:
- If you or you know someone looking for some work, we have some opportunities!
- Delivery Drivers:
- 1-3 days a week (avg 5-8 hour days) delviery our CSA Shares to members
- Need to be able to lift 40lbs
- Routes in Durham, York & Toronto Regions
- 25+ With valid license & good driving record
- Pack Team Members:
- 3-5 days a week at our farm
- Flexible with hours
- Packing our CSA Produce boxes
- Need to be able to lift 45lbs+
- Desirable if able to work until mid-October

Green House Planting Starting:
Next week we will be getting into our greenhouse to start all of the seedlings for the upcoming spring plant!
Stay tuned on our social media for what that will look like!
It's getting warmer!
- If you are on home delivery, please consider investing in a cooler.
- The cooler should be big enough to fit your share into. You should know roughly how much you receive by the number of shares your order.
- We can empty contents into a cooler upon request OR
- If your cooler is big enough, we can place the box right inside.
- These keep your produce fresh & safe from the elements incase you are going to be home.

- We are starting to plan our growing schedule for the 2021 Summer season so be sure to get your spot in our program

PLEASE Return Boxes & Red Freezer Bags!
We also take back mason jars & 12 hole Egg Cartons
- We like to reuse as much as we can :)
- leave them out your next delivery for the driver to get when they drop off your next order.
- If you are a pick up, you can leave the items at that location and we will grab them.
- If your red bag has a water bottle in it, leave it in! It's an icepack to help keep the items frozen during delivery. We refreeze them and use them multiple times.

Reminders On How The Share Works/ Tips & Tricks
The Produce in the boxes;
- We have a combination of our produce/items & we work with neighbours/friends & other local farm to keep a good variety available for your choosing. *Remember- it's still the winter=less options.*
- Ex. You will see;
- Sweet Potato-Coopers CSA Farm
- Apples- Natures Bounty Farm
- Lettuce- Link Greenhouse
- Maple Syrup- Coopers CSA Farm
- Ex. You will see;
We Sometimes Miss Items...
- We do a lot of counting & packing during the week & sometimes we miss putting an item in a box or in an extras order.
- Just email us! We have accepted that we are only human and mistakes happen.
- If we miss something of yours, we will get those items to you.
- Be sure to check your email for on Friday's for the 'customization' email.
- This is where you can change your share & purchase extras!
- Sundays @ the cut off time (3pm) we close the customization period!
- We start printing orders.
- NO changes can be made and NO extras can be purchased after this.
- Sometimes our emails end up as SPAM. Check your junk email often!
- Know your share & your pick up/delivery day.
- Write it on a calendar!
SET YOUR PREFERENCES!
- Please log into your account and set your preferences for every item we have (yes every item!). This is how the program customizes your boxes. Plus we use these preferences in cases where we need to manually make up your share.
- You can change your preferences any time if you want to shake up what items you may get in your boxes.

- How to reschedule or change locations.

- Check your junk email sometimes if you believe your customization emails didn't come in.
