Hello Fall!

Only 4 Weeks Left of the Summer 2021 Season

This means if you're a monthly delivery, this could be your last delivery!
Please return all of your red bags and boxes.
If you are not staying on for the winter, leave out a cooler or container for us to put your produce in so that we can keep the bags & boxes.
You can check if it's your least delivery on you HARVIE profile.

Apple Cider

Fall Flower Arrangment from Alex at Blooming Vintage!

Pre-Order for Pick Up only at the farm ONLY
Pick up dates are Oct. 7th-8th
"Celebrate Thanksgiving with this beautiful fall themed centrepiece. A white ceramic pumpkin vessel will be filled with seasonal flowers and foliage reflecting the colours of the season. The actual flowers will vary according to what is best that week, but will likely include dahlias, zinnia, grasses, dusty miller, herbs and other foliage, plus stems of dried wheat or oats. The arrangement uses chicken wire to hold the flowers for sustainability, and water can be topped up to help the flowers last. Bonus - the vessel can be re-used for Halloween or in future years."

Thanksgiving Turkeys

Turkeys will be up in the Extras in Week 18!
- This is the only weekend they will be available so make sure you're watching for them.
If you do not have a share in week 18 (ex. bi-weekly), we will create a "Farm Stand" for you to order and that will be pick up at the farm.

Winter Season Sign Up Open:

We have our winter CSA sign up open !
- We have have limited spots available during the winter as we like a little less work so we can relax from the busy summer season.
  - We open it up to members first to sign up before we open it up to the public.
- We will have a new Pick up location available at the Market Brewing Co. in Newmarket;
  - Pick up locations save you $ on delivery fees & you can visit the brewery as they often have fun things going on!

Lots of our produce in our fields are coming in!

Maze Tickets- Opening Weekend September 18th!

As a member, we are offering 4 tickets to you for being such an awesome member in our CSA program.
Please email us steve-lisacooper@coopersfarm.ca for the discount code.
How to get your tickets:
- Ticket can be acquired on our website; Visit Coopers Website
- Select "Buy Maze Tickets"
- Select Coopers 10 acre corn maze
- Select the date & time slot that you would like to visit
- Select the CSA member option
- Put 4 tickets in your cart
- Enter the code under each ticket so that you get 100% of each ticket
- You will be able to purchase more tickets as needed within the same transaction. Simply select general admission ticket.
- Pumpkins!
  - With each ticket you also get one U-Pick Pumpkin from the field to take home

SHOP THE EXTRAS:

If you enjoy our pre-made meals, maple syrup, honey, jams, baked goods etc. You can order these items in the extras section on your HARVIE account. We make a well stocked inventory specially for you, our members.
You will see these on the customizing screen.

Please Return Boxes & Red Cooler Bags

Yes! We takes these back.
Veggie Boxes
- Remove you sticker with your name on it
- Fold the boxes down so they are flat
  - Pop the bottom in, the pull on the flaps out until flat.
- Leave out side on your delivery day for us to pick up while we drop off your new one!
- OR Bring with you to leave at your pick up location for us to collect.
Red Bags
- Remove you sticker with your name on it
- If you order a freezer item, you will get a red bag
- Leave the water bottle inside it.
Plastic Produce containers:
- Green, small containers
- Strawberries often come in these
Egg Cartons
- We only accept 12’s cartons
- Must be clean
Mason Jars
- Must be the mason jar style
- 1L, 500 ml, or 250ml
- Must be clean

DO NOT RETURN:

Compostable Green Bags: Dispose of in your green bin or garbage.
Plastic Coopers Bags: Dispose of in garbage (we are switching to composable bags)
Plastic Containers: Recycle
Maple Syrup Jars:
- Unfortunately we cannot reuse these
- Please recycle
Non-Mason Jars:
- Ex. Spaghetti Sauce Jars
- These are not resealable OR the right sizes, we cannot use these.
