Week 2 of 14
Start off with a welcome & welcome back!
- If you're new to our CSA program, welcome, we hope you enjoy!
- If you're back for another season, thank you for your continuous support & we hope you also enjoy the season.
Chicken available for a limited time
- We do not raise chicken over the winter, we have a stock pile from the last batch of the season that we dole out over the winter months.
- It goes fast so be sure to get some at the beginning of the season.
Adios Mexicanos!
- Our migrant workers left for home. They are excited to see their families & to get to warmer weather.
- All of the other farms in our area also had their seasonal workers depart on the same flight.
Cows Cleaning Up the Pumpkin Patch
- We've set the heifers out to clean up the pumpkin patch, the will stomp on the pumpkins making it easier to for themselves and the pigs who will join the shortly.\
- The will be adding fertilizer to field with their droppings & the will be cleaning up the field over the winter which means less tractor work for us!
Home Delivery? Invest in a cooler for your items.
- If you have signed up for a home delivery route, we highly suggest getting a cooler for us to leave your produce in while it waits for you to get home.
Please Return Boxes & Red Cooler Bags!
- Home Delivery: Please leave the box & containers out for the drivers to pick up.
- Pick Up Locations: Leave the box and/or items there and we will pick them. x
- To Return Veggie Boxes
- Remove you sticker with your name on it
- Fold the boxes down so they are flat
- Pop the bottom in, the pull on the flaps out until flat.
- Return Red Bags
- We accept 12 slot egg cartons & mason jar returns.
Turkeys are still available in the extras
- 18+ lbs.
- *All turkeys are frozen*
- Turkey will last in the freezer until Christmas.
Online Store Coming back if you know anyone not on our program but wanting to order products.
Farm Store in Zephyr open every other Saturday. (See calendar on website)
