Week 15
With the intense heat, last week was tough for everyone on the farm. We are looking forward to the slightly cooler days (and nights) coming up this week. Our work to plant additional items for the Fall is continuing and we are getting excited for the change of seasons and back to eating more green things. This week, we'll continue to pick our watermelons (which have been an excellent treat for the crew during these hot days) and we will be picking more peppers. We have been roasting peppers on our grill this past week, making salsa and doing our best to preserve some of this Summer's harvest to enjoy over the cooler months.
