Good morning everyone!
It has been a busy week with the first shares going out this week for all weekly and 1/2 of the bi-monthly members! I have had several requests for menu ideas for some of the produce. In both this email and the end of customization period warning email, Harvie provides a drop down list of menu options for each item! There are up to 7 menu suggestions for each item. If members are interested, we could form a Pinterest Board of member menu suggestions! Let me know if that interests you! We could post our favorites for all to share!
If you need to check your payment plan, place your shares on hold while on vacation, change preferences for your weekly shares, or simply check your order to see if you ordered a small or large share, simply log on to Harvie, and you will be able to view your membership and make any needed changes to orders, likes and dislikes.
If you login and find you are having trouble finding the information you need, there is a support button in Harvie to answer any Harvie related questions about where to find your information. We find that Harvie responds immediately with confirmation of your request, then answers questions within 24 hours of the request.
If you have any vegetable or farmer related questions, please email us directly. You can email Harvie, and they will forward the email to us if you prefer, but emailing us directly will get to us sooner. farmer@freyfamilyfarm.net
Our first weeks always start heavy on the greens, as these are our first available crops. The first 3 weeks or so we supplement our garden veggies with some veggies from Four Elements Farm in Sumner, also certified organic. Their season is about 4 weeks ahead of ours, so by purchasing some veggies from them in the first weeks, we are able to give you a nice variety as we start the season.
Greens will continue through the season, and we will be adding the other veggies as the summer heats up and they are ready for harvest! We are working hard to bring you fresh, organic vegetables, grown with regenerative farming techniques and procedures. We want to know how we are doing, so if you have any questions or issues with any veggies, we welcome your comments and suggestions!
