If you paid in full for your membership by Feb. 11th, you received $25.00 credit in Harvie for extras. This can be used for extra veggies, honey, mushroom logs, or soap. I added the credit to your accounts this week. If you paid in full by Feb 11th, and do not see the credit, please let me know, and I will add it.
A few members have let me know that they are not getting Harvie emails. I asked Harvie about this, and they let me know that for some members, Harvie is on a blocked list for their email address. It could be the internet provider's spam selections, but I am letting everyone know this week to check your spam emails if you are not getting Harvie emails. If you know of someone having this trouble, I would appreciate it if you also would let them know. I only know of the members who have informed me of a problem, and there could be others.
To ensure bi-weekly members are in the know, Harvie has a drop down selection for menu suggestions for each item in your share. Look in your Harvie email with your delivery information for this great feature.
We have vivid Pac Choi in the selections this week. This is a new variety for us, as its name indicates, it is vivid, with purple veins. I am very excited to try it, and we would love to know how you like it as well. Also new this week is our braising greens. This is a mix of brassicas and mustards that are grown until full height for full flavor in your saute's or stir fries.
The farm is a buzz with hummingbirds, starlings, bees, and butterflies after our long rain! Mornings are my favorite time in the garden, the animals are flying high and low through the rows of vegetables. I have not yet seen a dragonfly, but am hoping we get to see some this summer. The farm is open for anyone wanting to come visit. Just shoot me a text to make sure we are here. Unless I am delivering or at Farmers Market, I am usually here.
