Hello friends! Here we are with week 8 upon us already! With the lovely cool weather, the flowers are producing like crazy and I can barely keep up with the harvest. Last week you saw a larger helping of dahlias in your shares, and you can expect more of that beauty again this week. I am especially excited to mix in some of the "dinner plate" forms I am growing this season- these stunners are truly as big as your head and look great as part of a larger arrangement, or can easily stand alone as a single stem in a vase. I also plan to harvest lots of amaranth this week- the beautiful spikes play well with others and the seed heads are enjoyed tremendously by the birds. I recommend sharing the bounty with the wildlife once your bouquet starts to fade. As we come to the close of the season, I am thinking ahead to next year. I am tremendously grateful to each of you for coming along on this journey with me, and hope that you will consider sharing your thoughts and feedback with me about how this all went for you. I plan to send out a survey via email at the end of the season, but please remember you can always reach out with questions or concerns at perigee.farm.elbe@gmail.com -Clare
