Hello Members.
It is hard to believe that the 2023 Farm Share season is almost over! We are on week 19 so there will be one last delivery after this week. We have been so appreciative of your support and encouragement throughout this season!
This week, we have started prepping and tarping the veggie beds as each crop is harvested so that we will be ready to roll in the spring for the 2024 season. We still have a few cold hardy and late blooming crops yet to make an appearance like Brussels sprouts, squash and ground cherries; we are hoping to be able to include them in next week's offerings.
After the farm share season is over, we will also continue to offer our on line farm stand as long as we have veggies available for those of you who are interested. We will keep sending out farm happenings as long as the farm stand is running so you will know when the order window is open. We will continue to offer farm pick ups and deliveries on Fridays.
We will also send out a few more reminder emails this week about the auto-renew process for next year's main season share.
This week we still have lots of fan favorites on the menu for you. The peppers and kale just keep getting better and better and the swiss chard is an impressive size! We had some chicken troubles this week and have moved them to a more secure location so no eggs on the menu while they settle in as we expect they will likely go on strike temporarily, chickens are like that:). We expect them to be back to their usual plucky selves for next week.
Have a great week!
Greg and Kate
