Hello Folks!
This will be the last week of our 2023 Main Season Share. Thank you all for your support, enthusiasm and encouragement throughout the season.
Our farming model only works with the support of our community. We are grateful that you have joined us on our journey to produce delicious and healthy foods using planet friendly methods.
We have a bit of sad news this week: our long awaited squash crop has been deemed an utter failure. We were hoping that it was just small but delicious but we have tried cooking it a few different ways and delicious it is not...so it will not be on the menu this week. The brussels sprouts are still coming along but not quite ready for prime time so they will remain something to look forward to!
After next week's pick up and delivery, we will take a little break from regular shares and the market stall while we put the outdoor gardens to bed and prepare for the winter season but will open the "online farm stand" weekly with any available inventory (eg cold hardy crops like brussels sprouts that are still growing in the garden!). Here you can shop a la carte Sat-Tues for pick up or delivery on Fri/Sat. If you have not yet signed up for Farm Stand, you can sign up here: https://www.harvie.farm/farm-stand/harmony-farm. You will also receive 30% off of your first farm stand order:).
We have heard from a few of you that the links in the sign up email yesterday did not get you where you needed to go. Here is a new link to the sign up page: https://www.harvie.farm/farm/harmony-farm/signup. If you have troubles with it, please let us know. Of course, current members do not need to sign up for the main season share. As long as you have "auto-renew" toggled on, this will happen automatically. If you do not want to renew automatically, simply toggle the button to "off".
If you are signing up or auto-renewing for the 2024 main season, don't forget that if you send our "refer a friend" link to someone who also signs up for a main season share, you will BOTH automatically receive $25 in store credit.
This week we have an assortment of cold hardy crops for you. The kale and parsley are especially delicious now that the nights are colder and the peppers just keep getting better and better, hard to believe.
As we wrap up our season and plan the next one, we would value your feedback, suggestions and requests for next year.
We will hope to see you all again soon!
Kate and Greg.
