Hi Everyone.
This is your friendly weekly reminder to place your farm stand order.
The stand will be open until Thursday at 8AM. We have storage veggies, hardy greens, pretty eggs and kombucha (with our new labels, thanks Ignite Printing!) on the menu.
We have been hard at work this fall prepping and freezing our harvest. Very soon we will be done with inventory and organizing and will have some super-convenient super foods ready for you!
Our kitchen is almost ready too so we should be able to post some tried and true recipes to go along with our little packages of frozen sunshine:).
Some of you have been asking about our Bresse chickens. The breeding flock is expanding and Greg has been hard at work building new poultry pens to accommodate everyone in style. We have been searching high and low for local organic milk to feed the birds during the finishing stage, so far to no avail. We are brainstorming other ideas (we have lots of black walnuts for example!). Any suggestions?
