Hello again everyone!
We took an unexpected week off from the farm stand last week while we completed our inventory of our pasture raised pork offerings.
We have so many delicious options for you this week!
Starting this week we will offer our Butcher Boxes both as a subscription as well as one time purchases (while supplies last).
This week also marked the beginning of 10 hours of daylight and our gardens have started growing again! This morning, it was 28 degrees in the greenhouse while Greg was watering the gardens. We have been sampling the options and the winter greens are just amazing. Kate's absolute favorites are the turnip greens; they are sweet and tender with just the tiniest hint of spice (bonus: you can eat them in salad, wilted or braised).
We received all of our seeds for the upcoming season from Gaia Organic Seeds today. We are really excited about working with a local organic seed producer and will have lots of amazing options for you throughout this growing season. We'll start our seedlings this week and keep you all posted on facebook and instagram as they grow:).
