Hello Farm Stand Members!
This is your friendly weekly reminder that our Farm Stand is open for orders from now until Tuesday at 9AM.
This week we have more of our fresh winter salad and salad turnips (don't forget to eat the greens; they may just be the best part!) as well as lots of meat, our butcher box special, beautiful eggs and all of our regular frozen and pantry shelf items.
This week, Greg and Rea have started up the wood fire furnace to keep our nursery greenhouse warm through the nights. We are eagerly watching for our newly planted seeds to germinate. The winter garden has sprung back to life in the large greenhouse (where we grow our heirloom tomatoes in the main season); the newly planted seeds are cold hardy plants that will be planted out shortly in our hoop houses to make up our spring share veggies.
In the barns, we have some goat does who are looking fairly pregnant. We are hoping they hold out until it is a little bit warmer but we will keep you all posted!
