We are working to expand our product line to include intentionally sourced staple grocery items. This week, you'll find wild caught salmon, Pittsburgh pizza dough, PA kiwiberries & pickled beets, OH black beans, NY pork chops and the best-sourced sugar & tahini on the market.
Wild caught salmon- our buyer, Neil Stauffer, met fisherman Jake Kropf in the Pacific Northwest. This wild-caught salmon is unbeatable.
Pittsburgh pizza dough- Tomanetti's has been making pizza dough and crust in Oakmont, PA since 1957. This frozen dough makes for an easy weeknight meal and a fun way to use up a bunch of Harvie veggies.
PA Kiwiberries- Jade Family farm is a small family farm in Central PA. Harvie has worked with this farm for years! Kiwiberries are similar in flavor profile to the kiwi but sweet and have a slight tangy flavor. There is no need to peel the berries, making for an easy afternoon snack.
Pickled Beets- A fun addition from Central PA produce co-op. Excellent on top of a salad and paired with some goat cheese!
NY pork chops- This pork is acorn finished, heritage breed, and ethically raised. The marbling on these porkchops is unmatched. Atticus Farm is a small hog farm in the Catskills, owned by Kyle Jaster, Harvie COO.
Wholesome sugar- Wholesome sugar is one of the best sugars on the market. An Organic, Fair-Trade, Non-GMO sugar that sets a high bar and distinguishes itself from the conventional sugar market.
Tahini- Once Again Tahini is a non-GMO, Organic product that believes in honest trade. This nut butter is so versatile and can be used for dressings, hummus, and baking!
