Signs of spring are popping up all over the farm: accelerated plant growth, meadowlark and red-winged blackbird song, the first flush of dandelion blooms, and a newborn calf gamboling behind his mother in the pasture. Another sure sign--our days are getting busier and busier! In fact, I need to keep this short and sweet so I can get outside to plant lettuce, arugula, carrots, turnips, and cilantro while my dad prepares for new piglets to arrive on the farm. With the forecast calling for sunny skies and a high of 65 degrees, I hope you can get outside, too!
