Who wants to go on a farm tour? Mark your calendars for Friday, August 2! As part of the Northeast Indiana Local Food Network's 5th Annual Local Food Week, we will be offering a walking farm tour during our weekly Fridays on the Farm pizza night. Pizzas are served 5-7pm and the tour will begin at 6:30pm (pre-order your pizzas here). We’ll talk about soil health, cover cropping, no-till gardening techniques, crop rotations, raising animals on pasture, and anything else you want to hear about!
We often say we are "customer certified," which means that our members are encouraged to see for themselves how we farm. Here is an opportunity to get to know your farmers and become even better acquainted with the source of your food. We hope you'll join us!
