It's just about tomato time! More and more are ripening each day and they will (probably) be a full-blown offering next week. In the meantime, you can grab some complimentary ones in the take or swap box to tie you over. We've been grateful for a couple of mornings of cloud cover which helped us get a handle on some weeding that needed to be done and we're grateful to our wonderful volunteers for helping us stay on target. Every Friday morning through August will be a Volunteer day. If there's another time that would work better for you, no worries, just let us know and we'll work it out. We greatly appreciate the extra set of hands here and there! NEW this week: Carrots and Cucumbers! And grab lots of basil while you can this week. Time to make some authentic Italian pesto! Yum!! About the farm
We left the hustle and bustle of city life to raise our children in the country. Getting into agriculture is a decision we've never regretted! Now we lovingly grow fresh food together as a family on our small farm. It's food we trust, and you can too! We want to feed our children the best we can, so we grow high-quality fruits, vegetables, and meats - everything from Arugula to Zucchini; Chicken and pork! - all free of chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. We'd love to share what we grow with you!
