It's the heat of the summer and we're feeling it! We're getting up before the sun to beat the heat... good thing we're already morning people! Haha! ;) In other news, the garden is starting to reach its stride... Cucumbers are on well, hot peppers are starting to go strong, bell peppers are ripening up, and... the tomatoes keep teasing us! Our tomato vines are now over 6 ft. tall and, although the tomatoes seem to be slow this year, that only makes us more excited for the expectations of a bumper crop! We will have as much as we can as part of our Summer Smorgasboard offering which will also include the choices of purple head cabbage, bell peppers, pink celery, and snack sized tomatoes. About the farm
We left the hustle and bustle of city life to raise our children in the country. Getting into agriculture is a decision we've never regretted! Now we lovingly grow fresh food together as a family on our small farm. It's food we trust, and you can too! We want to feed our children the best we can, so we grow high-quality fruits, vegetables, and meats - everything from Arugula to Zucchini; Chicken and pork! - all free of chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. We'd love to share what we grow with you!
