It’s week #2 of our Spring Greens season and we’re swimming in green! We’re really excited because we’ve as yet to produce so much so early in the year... our hoophouses make all the difference with season extension!
In other farm news, we have 4 bee hives being delivered tomorrow morning! Having bees has been a desire of ours for years but we didn’t know how to get started with them until a friend asked us if we would be interested in keeping some of her hives on our property. Yes we would! As these hives grow and thrive, we will be able to split them and make hives of our own, but in the meantime, we’ll be able to learn and practice having bees. I love when things work out like this! Looking to the future, we hope that honey will be able to be an offering of our CSA boxes.
