I've been taking Amos on walks around the farm and to water the greenhouse but last Thursday was the first time he came to work in the field. For about an hour I was able to cut flowers for bouquets before he woke and needed feeding/changing. After tending to his needs, I was able to spend another 45 minutes making the bouquets while he hung out on a blanket on the floor. Now that's a very small portion of the daily farm work that must be done to keep everything going but it felt good to be a part of the crew again! Of course the majority of the work of harvesting and packing shares was done by our hard working team and Chris. Very thankful for the good help we have to keep the farm going during this time of my (mostly) absence.
