We have a treat in the shares this week: sweet corn from Randle Farms in Auburn! This is organically grown corn so there may be a worm hiding in the tops of some stalks. Organic corn is hard to come by.....most growers use chemicals to grow corn. We don't grow it because corn requires so much space to get a decent yield, thus is not very profitable/possible for a small grower. Though we have plenty of food coming in from our farm, we got this because we know sweet corn makes people so happy :) Hope you enjoy!
