Happy (almost) August! We are hustling to bring in some gorgeous crops. Sweet corn is trickling in, and we're beginning bulk harvests of our early season onions. It's hard to believe that July is coming to a close. When we aren't harvesting, we're turning over spring crops, planting fall successions, and weeding weeding weeding.

We are feeling the shift towards peak summer. Brassicas are slowing down - with cauliflower and napa cabbage making their first appearance for the season. We are feeling a shift in the season. Harvests are becoming heavier, and bulk crops are starting to come out of the field. We are partway through our garlic harvest, and the crop looks beautiful. We'll hope to have garlic in the shares weekly starting week 9.

About the farm
Meadowlark Community Farm is nestled in the southwest corner of Juneau County in the Driftless region of Wisconsin. Craig and Lauren Kreutzer (and their family) grow about 3 acres of diverse, certified organic produce. 2021 will be our 7th growing season, and we're honored to feed our community!
