Welcome to Your 25-Week CSA Share!
We're thrilled you've joined us. We love sharing our food, farm, and community with you. Here’s some key information to ensure a smooth season:
On-Farm Pick Up (Tuesdays):
- Bring Your Own Bag: Pick up your CSA list/label and pack your own bag from our market-style setup.
- Mini Farmers Market: Buy extras like cheese, eggs, butter, produce, and meat. The plant sale continues for 2 more weeks.
- No Online Orders for Extras: Everything is available on-site.
Delivery Locations:
- Cooler Bags: Each delivery location receives 2 insulated cooler bags per season. Please return your bag with the label intact each week.
- Bag Return: Return bags to the same area where you picked them up.
- Reuse Last Year's Bags: If you have bags from last year, please send them along.
Pick Up Responsibility:
- It's your responsibility to pick up your share within the given time.
Using the Harvie Platform:
- Convenience and Flexibility: Harvie allows you to make multiple changes to your share weekly.
- Customization Cut-Off Times: Changes must be made by Sunday at 3pm for Tuesday delivery and Wednesday at 3pm for Saturday delivery.
- No Last-Minute Changes: Once the share leaves the farm, it’s out of our hands. Please do not contact Lisa for changes on the day of delivery.
Contact Information:
- Phone Number: Ensure your number is up-to-date for any last-minute info from your drop location.
- Emergency Situations: Call your drop location only if you cannot pick up your bag.
Missed Pick Ups:
- On-Farm Pick Up: We will bag your share and store it in the cooler until the end of the next day.
- Drop Spots: Bags left beyond pick-up time are donated to employees or a local food pantry.
- Friends Picking Up: A friend can pick up your bag for you without needing to notify us.
Community and Support:
- Private FB Farm-ily Page: Join and participate for information exchange and community building. Answer the questions to be identified as a CSA member.
Weekly Customization:
- Accurate Preferences: Ensure your preferences are set accurately and customize weekly by 3pm Sunday.
Fresh and Organic Greens:
- Expect plenty of fresh, nutrient-dense, certified organic greens in the coming weeks. Freeze spinach and kale, make a quiche, or sauté them for a delicious meal. Check our blog for kale recipes and inspiration!
