Greetings from the farm! We are beginning to harvest some new crops for you, including squash, zucchini, and greens! Last week we planted more broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, salad mix, lettuce heads, arugula, radishes, turnips, and green onions. The tomatoes are slowing down as disease is killing some of the varieties and with shorter days they ripen slower. We hope to still have them for a few more weeks.
Also on the menu this week are live microgreens from Tim with Green Dragon Microfarm. They are being sold as a mixed pack with three different types. Microgreens are know to be packed with nutrients and really good for you. The flavor is also awesome. Please add to your order and give them a try to help out another local grower!
We had two of our helpers leaving for college next week. If you know anybody looking for a job, please direct them our way! It is hard work, but we have fun and make the best of it!
As always, be sure to customize and add to your share to get all the local goodness while the getting is good! Thank you so much for your membership and supporting our mission.
