QUESTION!!
**** My brother is getting married August 27, so I want to know what would work for people. Would you rather get your veggies earlier in the week (Wed or Thurs) at a location in Georgetown, or still get your veggies on Saturday, but know that the veggies have been picked earlier in the week then normal. Have a think and let me know. ****
Heat waves and down pours, all the veggies are ticking away and we are busy weeding and planting some of the fall roots and greens. Daikon radish, nappa cabbage, watermelon radish, and mustard. Tangy and crunchy roots to go along with the lovely squash that are starting to peak out from below the leaves, yellows, oranges and blues. Soon we will be harvesting and curing the onions and shallots too. Some of the onions may be a bit on the small side since it was so dry, but the shallots look plump and beautiful.
