I was looking through my phone of recent pictures to use for this 'happening' when it sent me a compilation of food photos I had taken over the last couple of years. Though I don't often share meal photos, it is kind of fun to see and remember past meals, get togethers, triumph, and even sometimes failures. Are there any new dishes that you have tried this year that you are excited about? A new condiment, dressing, or marinade made from scratch?
Some of you have shared some of these great recipes with me, easy falafels, fermented cucumber pickles, vegan squash chili, etc. The list is long and delicious. Some favourites I have discovered while growing the garden and farm is grilled zucchini and eggplant, tabbouleh, bruschetta, as well as my first time cooking a turkey and other more obscure cuts of meat like tongue and heart. So keep sharing those recipes, I love hearing about what you are making and trying out!
