Hey there,
It is a lovely cool morning to wander around the garden taking an inventory. There are a few new items, and there are some more new items coming along, like our first time growing Soy beans, for edamame. but first I need to get down to some logistics. My brother is getting married this weekend, so pickup has changed a bit for the Saturday members.
Thursday CSA Members: No changes for ordering or pickup.
Saturday CSA Members:
Ordering time begins now and cutoff has changed to Wednesday late morning.
Pick up Saturday as usual, but the shares will be pre-packed in paper bags for you to grab and go. I had mentioned to some about the possibility of grabbing at the farm, but after speaking to the friend who is bringing them to the market for me, they will be grabbing them from the farm early to store in their own cooler to make drop off on Saturday easier around their job.
Though its not exactly a vacation, I think it will be nice to spend a couple nights away, and give the kids a break from all the back breaking labour they infrequently do.
