Hello and welcome back to the Rivendale CSA newsletter. These are exciting weeks for our CSA, as we are now packing more customer boxes than we ever have before. We like being challenged, and we hope you enjoy the results!
As some of you know, we also sell Rivendale products to other outlets including grocery stores (for ice cream), Pittsburgh sports teams, and restaurants. The combination of both the CSA and these other customer bases really compliments each other well from a grower's perspective. But it also creates an opportunity for you to cook with the same ingredients that are being used by top chefs all over the city. Pretty cool.
If you follow @rivendalefarms on Instagram, you may see various restaurants highlighting ingredients and/or dishes that have Rivendale products in them. Or if you're curious to taste some more of our products when you go out to eat, here is just a partial list of some of our loyal restaurants. We encourage you to support any of these Rivendale restaurants (in alphabetical order) and let them know if you are a fan of Rivendale: Cafe Carnegie, Dinette, Eleven, Fairlane, Fl. 2, Home, Legume, Mediterra Cafe, Station, and Whitfield.
