Hi everyone!
The farm share is really starting to look like summer this week: eggplants, tomatoes (from Poché Family Farm), cukes, squash, peppers, and more. Our backs are starting to feel the strain of so much heavy produce, but we're not complaining! We're still getting plenty of beautiful greens from Compostella Farm and some stunning head lettuce from our Bywater farm. This might just be the best time of year in New Orleans, produce-wise, when it's not so hot that the greens are done, but the bounty of fruiting summer crops is already rolling in. Enjoy it while it lasts!
And please stay tuned for updates about June. We'll be adding more weeks to the farm share, likely with some scheduling changes. We'll send out more information in the next week.
