Hi all,
It seems like our remarkably mild spring has come to an end and the heat is here to stay. The good news is that this is a great time of year for local produce in Louisiana. All the summer fruiting veggies like cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes are getting into full swing, but we still have gorgeous spring greens and herbs before it gets too hot for them. So, take advantage of the wide variety in the share for the next few weeks, because at some point as the temperature keeps rising, those delicate leaves will become pretty scarce.
We wanted to give you a heads up that we'll be continuing the share for another month, but there may be a few schedule changes. Please keep an eye out for an email from us in the next week about June farm shares.
Enjoy the bounty of late spring!
Annie and Cheryl
PS - Keep those microgreens containers in rotation. You can bring them back and we'll wash and re-use them.
