It feels like the world is upside down right now, and it's hard to get our feet underneath us. We're grateful to the folks who purchased from our pop-up farm stand last weekend. We're looking forward to what will hopefully be a normal week for our farm share, even though it feels anything but normal in the news.
We were fortunate to have very little damage to our crops, so the usual array of greens, roots, herbs, and other goodies are available again. For the first time ever, we'll be including some of our own sweet potatoes in the farm share. (You might notice that some of them are a bit less regular shaped than Indian Springs's sweet potatoes, but we've tried them and they're delicious.) Compostella lost most of their arugula in the storm, but we'll be getting what's available of that, plus their mesclun, baby kale, and beautiful radicchios! And be sure to check out the 100% naturally grown satsumas and Meyer lemons from our neighbor Isabelle in Lower Coast Algiers.
Saturday folks can look forward to another Lost Line pop-up this week. Be sure to follow @thelostlinenola to see the menu and pre-order since he sells out fast!
Oh, and please VOTE if you haven't already!
