Has anyone checked the weather for next week? Brrrrrr! We're anticipating a hard freeze on Mardi Gras morning, which could do some damage to some of our crops. We'll be blanketing as much as we can with row cover this weekend and keeping our fingers crossed that we don't lose too much!
For the share on Ash Wednesday (not Tuesday!) you can look forward to starting off the Lent season healthily with lots of greens, including baby spinach from Compostella. Strawberries from Johndales Farm are back in the extras section, along with lots of other quality local products like eggs, mushrooms, ginger, tofu, and organic grapefruits.
