Did you know that the term "Raw Unfiltered" for honey is not regulated and many grocery stores carry honey that's labeled as such but is actually pasteurized? We're pleased to now have local actually raw unfiltered honey available from Powers Apiary, a beekeeper based at Sugar Roots Farm, a neighbor of our West Bank farm. This honey is as good and pure as it gets.
Also available this week again, likely for the last time: Strawberries!! Faust Farm is finishing up the berry season and we're getting some of the last harvest. They're also supplying us cherry tomatoes, and we're getting Poché Family Farm cucumbers to expand our offerings this week. Squash is also starting to roll in more and more, so get out your zoodle making machines or however else you like to prepare your zucchinis and summer squash. Lots of summery things on the horizon.
