I know your inboxes are getting inundated with donation requests for Give NOLA Day, and here's another! If you're interested in supporting local farms, support the organization that supports local farms, SPROUT NOLA. SPROUT has always been an extremely important resource to us and many other local farmers who are just starting out with the ReFresh Farmers Market, looking for other sales outlets at the Truck Farm Table, or needing to be represented in the policy world. Please consider throwing some Give NOLA Day love their way tomorrow, May 4th.
We also have a great share for you this week, with an exciting limited add-on of local honey from Powers Beekeepers. This Raw Unfiltered honey is as good and pure as it gets. Beautiful butter and romaine lettuce heads, zukes and squash, tons of fresh herbs, and the return of Compostella's baby greens are filling out the shares with springtime abundance.
Finally, heads up that we're planning to add three more weeks to the season to bring us to June 19th. You'll automatically be enrolled in the June extension season unless you opt-out on your own. (Please view Harvie's Customer Help Page for more info about auto-renewal.) We'll be sharing more details soon.
