Hi everyone,
What a crazy time we're living in. We've been quadrupling our cleaning and sanitary practices and are implementing a system of contactless veggie distribution. All you have to touch is your produce. (Don't forget to bring your own bags!)
In other news, we have a ton of great produce for you this week. In addition to our greens and roots that you've been enjoying, we'll have garlic scapes, peas, butter head lettuce, bok choy, and we're getting more salad mixes from our friends at Compostella Farm who normally sell their excellent organic greens to restaurants.
We also are now featuring sushi sandwiches, aka onigirazu, from the Lost Line. Onigirazu can be heated up at home by toasting on a pan, or eaten cold. Selections for this week are avocado and egg or carrot miso (made with our carrots). Add a little hot sauce and soy sauce for a great, easy small meal or hearty snack.
Oyster mushrooms and eggs from Local Cooling Farm are also available again.
Stay safe and eat well.
Annie and Cheryl
PS - We're still accepting the microgreens containers back for future use.
