Hello from the farm,
So this week has not been a busy week starting to harvest out some of our root crops. We are trying to finsh cleaning out and harvesting some fields so we can start getting ready to plant our fall crops. Yes it is getting to be that time of the year to start planning and planting fall crops for the fall. Things like turnips, rutabaga, parsnips, peas and our last planting of winter squash. That does not included getting fields ready for transplanting broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and cabbage for the fall and winter.
The only excitement that we had this week was Barnwood Builders came and pickup all the old beams from the old barn.
Other than that we have just been doing the same old picking, planting, packing and feeding.
Hope you all have great week,
The Schultz Family
