Greetings from the farm!
Can you believe there are only two weeks left in the Summer CSA season? Time flies! We will be sending out details and sign-up information for our Fall CSA later this week, so keep an eye out. ?
Fall is definitely in the air, and we’re curious—what are some of your favorite things to do during this cozy season? For us, fall means pumpkins, campfires, and lots of warm soups. With soccer games and Sadie’s cross-country meets, the kids have been keeping us busy too!
Speaking of soups, what’s your favorite one to make? Here are three delicious fall soup ideas you can whip up with our farm-fresh produce:
Roasted Butternut Squash Soup – Smooth, creamy, and full of fall flavor. Perfect with a drizzle of maple syrup.
Hearty Vegetable Soup – Packed with farm-fresh veggies like carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes, it’s a nutritious meal in a bowl.
Creamy Pumpkin Soup – A warm and cozy favorite, spiced with a little cinnamon and nutmeg for the ultimate fall comfort food.
Have a great week and enjoy the start of the fall season! ?
Warmly, The Schultz Family
About the farm
Josh and Lynne farm with their four kids in the rolling hills in Bremen OH. Our family believes in producing farm fresh quality products for consumers in the local community. We believe it is important for consumers to know where their food comes from as well as educating consumers about the important role that agriculture plays in the community. As being young farmers it is important for us to work towards providing sustainable agriculture to the community. As our operation continues, we believe it is important to become more efficient in what we are doing not only to save us time but help preserve and maintain the environment around us. Our farm continues to work and improve on conservation practices to help maintain a positive relationship between the farming operation, wildlife, and land around us.
