Dear valued members,
Greetings from the farm! We're thrilled to have you on board with us for the fall CSA, and we hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits.
It's been an exciting and busy week for us here at the farm as we've been deeply involved with the county fair. The kids have had a fantastic time showcasing their various fair projects. We're delighted to share that they brought home a remarkable collection of ribbons, trophies, and awards. Among these accolades, we're particularly proud of the Grand Champion Carcass Steer and the Reserve Champion Turkey. These achievements reflect the dedication and hard work our young farmers have poured into their projects.
Now, as the fair chapter comes to a close, we're gradually getting back into the rhythm of farm life. This week, you may notice a slightly lighter selection of meat in your CSA share. We haven't had the opportunity to make our usual visit to the butcher shop due to our fair commitments. However, please rest assured that our meat inventory will be fully replenished by next week, ensuring you have a delightful variety to choose from.
In the coming days, we'll be back in the fields, assessing the readiness of our crops and resuming our regular harvesting. As we transition into the fall season, you can expect a diverse range of delicious vegetables and other farm-fresh offerings in your CSA shares.
We're looking forward to a fantastic fall season filled with abundant, wholesome produce, and we sincerely thank you for your continued support. Your involvement in our CSA helps us sustain our family farm and brings our harvest from the fields to your table.
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead, and we're eager to share the fruits of our labor with you throughout the season.
Warm regards,
The Schultz Family
