Hi everyone! Another weekend of bed prep and transplanting trying to catch up with the demands of this growing season. Although our backs are broken we take joy in how good our new plot is looking and all the compliments we receive by anyone who walks by. We've has some issues with rabbits on one of our plots eating up our peas and now our kale. Hopefully they will both recover and continue producing. For now, please enjoy your share!

About the farm
At Zawadi Farm, our aim is to create physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food and to engage community members in educational opportunities and conversations centered around active and healthy living.
We rehabilitate Toronto backyards and convert them into living growing spaces for nutrient-rich, organic locally grown seasonal vegetables.
