Hello Members!
A turn in the weather signals a change in veggies to the boxes soon. We will continue having tomatoes and peppers, but melons and sweet corn are done for the year. This week, you will see fresh arugula greens and crisp radishes in the box. We unfortunately have had somewhat of a grasshopper plague on our farm this late summer and they completely took out a couple successions of greens as well as lots of other damage. There is not a whole lot to be done about them except cover everything with row cover and even that does not work 100%. So, we are a little behind on greens, but I have palnted and replanted many times and am hopeful we will have plenty of greens for the last few boxes and into the fall shares.
