Happy Wednesday! This week we have been working on updating the farm. Customers are free to come and take a look at our farm to see how we have made improvements. We are also getting ready for our Fall/Winter CSA program. We have lots of different items growing in our greenhouses to feature. Much of it will include leafy greens, lettuce, beets, carrots, and more. We will be sending out signup emails soon to everyone. We also have a refer-a-friend program where you can get incentives for each person who signs up under your link. We had two farmer stands in Reading on Tuesday and we will be having a pop-up farmers market again, tomorrow. During the summer we set up at Penn Street Market every Thursday. With the season being over, we decided to do pop-up markets around the city of Reading every once in awhile so people can still have access to fresh produce. Tomorrow will be our first pop-up of the season, so we are excited for that. If you want to check it out, we will be at 8th and Penn street in front of the Berks Community Health Center in Reading from 9:30Am-12:30PM. FoodTrust will also be their handing out Berks Farm Bucks that can be used to purchase produce from our stand. So, come check out our stand and get some free produce to take home. Today, we harvested quite a bit of Arugula, Swiss Chard, beet greens, eggplants, green beans, okra, raspberries, and green peppers. The pickup time for your delivery is Friday after 2pm. Your box will stay fresh up until Sunday, if you need more time. Thank you for your support and we hope you enjoy your box.
